A lovely family based in Meopham are seeking an experienced and caring part time nanny housekeeper to help care for their children, aged 5 years and 18 months, with a newborn due in September. This is a wonderful opportunity for a warm, organised and proactive candidate who enjoys supporting a growing family while helping to keep the home running smoothly.
The ideal candidate will have experience caring for young children and babies, be confident balancing childcare with housekeeping duties and be happy to work as part of a busy family environment. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- providing attentive and nurturing care for the children
- supporting the daily routines of the toddler and school-aged child
- assisting with the newborn once they arrive in September as required
- planning engaging and age-appropriate activities
- preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
- supporting learning and development through play
- helping with school and nursery routines when required
- keeping the children’s bedrooms, nursery and play areas tidy and organised
- undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care for the family
- making beds and changing bed linen
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- running household errands and grocery shopping when required
- preparing simple family meals when needed
- ensuring the home remains clean, organised and welcoming at all times
