A lovely family based near Norwich are seeking an experienced live in housekeeper to maintain their beautiful 6-bedroom home to an exceptional standard. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, organised and trustworthy candidate who enjoys working independently and takes pride in creating a clean, welcoming and well-managed household.
The successful candidate must be a confident driver and be comfortable working in a home with three friendly medium-sized dogs. Excellent accommodation is provided in the form of a separate two-bedroom cottage with its own private garden, offering plenty of privacy. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the property
- cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and reception rooms
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing all household surfaces
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage areas
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- monitoring household supplies and restocking essentials when required
- running household errands and grocery shopping
- receiving deliveries and liaising with contractors when necessary
- helping with the day-to-day organisation of the household
- providing care for the family’s three friendly dogs, including feeding and letting them into the garden when required
- reporting maintenance issues and ensuring the property remains well presented
- driving for household errands when needed
- ensuring the home remains clean, organised and welcoming at all times
