A lovely household based in Wokingham is seeking an experienced and reliable part time housekeeper to help maintain their home to a high standard. This is a wonderful opportunity for a proactive and organised candidate who takes pride in creating a clean, tidy and welcoming living environment.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, use their initiative and manage a variety of household tasks with excellent attention to detail. The family are looking for someone trustworthy, efficient and committed to maintaining the smooth running of their home. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- general housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage spaces
- keeping the home tidy, well presented and clutter free
- monitoring household supplies and reporting when items need replenishing
- running occasional household errands when required
- helping maintain a comfortable and well-organised home environment
