A lovely family based in Cobham are seeking an experienced and professional live in housekeeper to help manage the day-to-day running of their home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, organised and hardworking candidate who takes pride in maintaining high housekeeping standards and enjoys working within a private household.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, flexible and able to work independently while ensuring the home remains clean, organised and welcoming. A confident driver is essential for household errands and other driving duties when required. Applicants must also be pet friendly and comfortable working in a household with pets. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- full housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe management
- making beds and changing bed linen
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage areas
- caring for delicate furnishings and household items
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- running household errands and shopping when required
- driving for household-related duties as needed
- assisting with pet care when required
- ensuring the home remains tidy, welcoming and efficiently managed at all times
