A lovely family based in Balham are seeking an experienced and caring full time live out nanny / housekeeper to provide dedicated care for their 10-month-old baby while helping to maintain the smooth running of the household. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone warm, organised and proactive who enjoys caring for young children and supporting a busy family home.
The ideal candidate will have experience caring for babies of a similar age and be confident managing a combination of childcare and housekeeping duties. The family are looking for someone who is nurturing, reliable and able to create a safe, stimulating and loving environment while maintaining a clean and organised home. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- providing attentive and loving care for the baby
- supporting feeding, weaning and nap routines
- planning age-appropriate developmental activities and sensory play
- encouraging early learning and developmental milestones
- taking the baby on walks and outings when appropriate
- preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child
- general housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness throughout the home
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- keeping the nursery, toys and children’s belongings clean and organised
- maintaining a safe, tidy and welcoming home environment
- helping ensure the household runs smoothly on a daily basis
