A lovely couple based in Tower Hamlets are seeking an experienced and passionate part time cook to prepare fresh, nutritious meals for their household. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys cooking a variety of dishes and is confident with batch cooking, ensuring delicious homemade meals are available throughout the week. Someone who is confident in cooking Punjabi cuisines is ideal.
The ideal candidate will be organised, efficient and able to work independently while planning menus and preparing meals to a high standard. Previous experience as a private household cook or in a similar role is highly desirable, along with excellent references.
Duties would include:
- planning weekly menus in consultation with the clients
- preparing fresh, healthy and balanced meals
- batch cooking meals for the week ahead
- catering to the couple’s dietary preferences and requirements
- preparing lunches, dinners and freezer-friendly dishes
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- grocery shopping and sourcing fresh ingredients when required
- monitoring pantry supplies and kitchen stock
- ensuring food hygiene and kitchen safety standards are maintained
- storing and labelling prepared meals appropriately
