A lovely family based in Godalming are seeking an experienced and versatile housekeeper nanny cook to support the care of their two children, aged 6 and 3 years old, while helping with the day-to-day running of their home. This is an excellent opportunity for a warm, organised and proactive candidate who enjoys combining childcare, housekeeping and cooking in a varied role.
The ideal candidate will be confident managing household duties while providing attentive care for the children when needed. A driver is essential for school runs, activities and errands, and applicants must be pet friendly and comfortable working in a household with pets. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are required.
Duties include:
- providing attentive care and supervision for the children
- school and nursery pick-ups and drop-offs
- planning engaging, age-appropriate activities
- preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children and family
- general housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness throughout the home
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- keeping children’s bedrooms, play areas and communal spaces tidy and organised
- planning meals and preparing fresh family dinners
- batch cooking and meal preparation when required
- running household errands and grocery shopping
- driving the children to activities and appointments
- helping with pet-related duties when needed
- ensuring the household runs smoothly and efficiently each day

Requirements:
