A lovely family based in Oxted, Surrey is seeking a reliable and experienced part time housekeeper to help maintain their home to a high standard. This is a flexible position offering either 4–5 days per week for 5 hours per day or 3 full days per week.
The ideal candidate will have previous housekeeping experience, be organised, hardworking and take pride in their work. A full driving licence is essential, and the candidate must be comfortable around their friendly dog.
Duties include:
- carrying out thorough general housekeeping duties throughout the home
- cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing surfaces
- making beds and changing bed linen
- laundry and ironing
- keeping the home tidy, clean and well organised
- maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property
- organising household items and keeping rooms presentable
- cleaning and maintaining the kitchen
- washing up and tidying after meals
- managing household supplies and reporting when items need replenishing
- carrying out occasional household errands when required
- working independently and using initiative
- being comfortable working in a home with a friendly dog
- ensuring the home remains clean, organised and running smoothly
