Position: Part Time Housekeeper Nanny

A lovely family based in Cambridge are seeking an experienced and reliable part time housekeeper nanny to help maintain their home while providing occasional childcare support for their two children, aged 3 and 6 years old. This role is predominantly focused on housekeeping, making it ideal for a candidate who takes pride in creating a clean, organised and well-managed family home.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised and able to work independently, with excellent attention to detail and a flexible approach. They should be comfortable supporting the children when required while prioritising household duties. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- managing laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- changing bed linen and maintaining bedrooms
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and household storage areas
- keeping the home tidy, clutter free and well presented
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- shopping for groceries and household essentials when required
- running household errands when needed
- preparing simple meals and snacks for the children
- providing occasional childcare support for the children
- planning age-appropriate activities and play
- helping with school and nursery routines when required
- keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas organised
- ensuring the home remains welcoming, comfortable and running smoothly each day
