A lovely household based in Bexley is seeking an experienced and reliable part time housekeeper to help maintain their home to a high standard. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and organised candidate who takes pride in keeping a home clean, tidy and well organised while working independently.
The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be trustworthy and able to use their initiative to ensure the household runs smoothly. Applicants must be pet friendly and comfortable working in a home with pets. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- general housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage spaces
- keeping the home tidy, clutter free and well presented
- cleaning mirrors, windows and other interior surfaces as required
- monitoring household supplies and reporting when items need replenishing
- assisting with pet-related tasks when required
- helping ensure the home remains organised, welcoming and running smoothly each day
