A lovely family based in West Hampstead are seeking an experienced and caring full time live out nanny / housekeeper to care for their 2-year-old child while helping to maintain a clean, organised and welcoming home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a warm, proactive and reliable candidate who enjoys combining childcare with housekeeping responsibilities in a friendly family environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience caring for toddlers, be organised and able to use their initiative, ensuring the child is happy, safe and engaged while keeping the household running smoothly. The family also have a friendly dog, so applicants must be pet friendly and comfortable working around pets. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- providing attentive and nurturing care for the child
- planning fun, educational and age-appropriate activities
- supporting the child’s daily routines and developmental milestones
- preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child
- taking the child to local activities, parks and playgroups
- general housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness throughout the home
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- keeping the child’s bedroom, play areas and communal spaces tidy and organised
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- running household errands when required
- assisting with the care of the family dog when needed
- helping ensure the home remains organised, welcoming and running smoothly each day
