A lovely household based in Orpington is seeking an experienced and dependable part time housekeeper / cook to assist with the smooth running of their home. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys maintaining a clean and organised household while preparing fresh, home-cooked meals for the family.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, efficient and able to work independently, taking pride in delivering a high standard of housekeeping and cooking. Previous experience in a similar private household role is essential, along with excellent references.
Duties would include:
- general housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- vacuuming, mopping and dusting all household areas
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage spaces
- planning and preparing fresh, nutritious family meals
- batch cooking and meal preparation when required
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- grocery shopping and monitoring household supplies if needed
- helping ensure the home remains tidy, organised and welcoming at all times
