A lovely family based in Totteridge are seeking an experienced and reliable live out housekeeper / cook to assist with the smooth running of their home. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised candidate who enjoys maintaining a high standard of housekeeping while preparing fresh, home-cooked meals for the family.
The property is a spacious 7-bedroom home, with 5 bedrooms currently in use. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, have excellent attention to detail and be able to manage both housekeeping and cooking responsibilities efficiently. The family also have a small dog, so applicants must be pet friendly and comfortable working around pets. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- full housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- dusting, polishing and caring for household furnishings
- keeping cupboards, wardrobes and storage areas organised
- planning and preparing fresh, nutritious family meals
- batch cooking and meal preparation when required
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- grocery shopping and monitoring household supplies when needed
- assisting with light pet-related tasks for the family’s small dog
- helping ensure the household runs smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis
