A friendly family based in Islington are seeking a caring and experienced part time nanny housekeeper to support them with the care of their 2-year-old child, alongside light household duties. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone warm, reliable and proactive who enjoys working with toddlers and helping maintain a well-run and organised home.
The ideal candidate will be energetic, patient and responsible, with the ability to provide a safe, engaging and nurturing environment for their child while also assisting with general housekeeping tasks. Previous experience with young children in a private household setting and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- providing attentive care for the 2-year-old child
- planning fun, age-appropriate and educational activities
- supporting daily routines including snack and meal times
- engaging the child in creative play and developmental activities
- ensuring the child’s safety and wellbeing at all times
- general housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness throughout the home
- children’s laundry and keeping belongings organised
- tidying toys, play areas and bedrooms
- light household organisation and daily upkeep tasks
- helping ensure the home remains clean, calm and well organised
