A private household in Central London are seeking an experienced and reliable part time housekeeper / cook to support the smooth running of their home. This is a great opportunity for someone organised, proactive and confident managing both housekeeping duties and home cooking on a weekly basis.
The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and well organised home, while also enjoying preparing fresh and nutritious meals for the household. Candidates must be pet friendly and comfortable working around animals. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are essential.
Duties would include:
- maintaining cleanliness and high presentation standards throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe organisation
- making beds and changing bed linen
- tidying and organising all household areas
- planning and preparing fresh home-cooked meals
- batch cooking and preparing meals for the week when required
- grocery shopping and managing household supplies
- keeping the kitchen clean, organised and well maintained
- assisting with pet-related tasks when needed
- ensuring the household runs smoothly on a weekly basis
