A private household based in Reading is seeking an experienced and reliable part time housekeeper to assist with the upkeep and organisation of their home. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and well-presented household and enjoys working independently.
The role is based in a comfortable 3-bedroom home and would suit a proactive, detail-oriented candidate who can efficiently manage household tasks while maintaining high standards throughout the property. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- general housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- dusting, polishing and caring for household furnishings
- vacuuming and mopping floors
- tidying and organising household spaces
- maintaining household supplies and reporting when items need replenishing
- helping ensure the home remains tidy, organised and welcoming at all times
