A lovely household in Welwyn Garden City is seeking an experienced part time housekeeper / cook to provide support with both household management and meal preparation. This role would suit a professional, self-motivated candidate who enjoys creating a clean, organised home while also preparing delicious and nutritious meals for the family.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the property to a high standard and ensuring the household runs efficiently on their working days. The family are looking for someone trustworthy, discreet and capable of working independently, with previous experience in a similar private household role.
Duties would include:
- maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the home
- vacuuming, dusting and caring for all household areas
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe organisation
- changing bed linen and making beds
- keeping cupboards, storage areas and household spaces organised
- planning family meals and preparing fresh home-cooked dishes
- batch cooking and preparing meals for future use
- shopping for groceries and household essentials when required
- keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and well organised
- helping maintain an efficient and well-run household environment
