A private household based in Weybridge is seeking an experienced and highly organised live in housekeeper to support the smooth running of a large family home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional candidate who takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards and has a flexible, can-do approach to household management.
The family are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong housekeeping skills and confidence driving both locally and into London when required. The successful candidate must be comfortable caring for a large family dog and be happy to assist with its day-to-day needs. Flexibility is important and the property is a 6-bedroom home. The accommodation offered is a private 2-bedroom staff flat with a separate entrance, providing excellent privacy and comfort.
Duties include:
- full housekeeping and maintaining the home to an exceptional standard
- cleaning and caring for all rooms and household surfaces
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe management
- making beds and changing bed linen
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage areas
- caring for delicate fabrics, furnishings and household items
- running household errands when required
- driving duties, including trips into London
- helping care for the family’s large dog
- dog walking and ensuring the dog’s wellbeing when needed
- monitoring household supplies and reporting shortages
- helping ensure the household runs efficiently and smoothly at all times
