A lovely household in Bayswater is seeking an experienced and dedicated part time housekeeper to help maintain their home to a high standard. This role would suit a proactive and self-motivated candidate who takes pride in creating a clean, organised and welcoming environment. The family are looking for someone dependable, efficient and able to work independently while managing a variety of household tasks.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the home, ensuring everything is well maintained and running smoothly. As the household has pets, applicants must be pet friendly and comfortable around animals. Previous housekeeping experience within a private household and strong references are essential.
Duties include:
- maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all areas of the home
- vacuuming, mopping and dusting throughout the property
- cleaning and sanitising kitchens and bathrooms
- laundry, ironing and clothing care
- changing bed linen and making beds
- organising wardrobes, cupboards and storage areas
- caring for delicate surfaces and household furnishings
- monitoring household supplies and reporting shortages
- assisting with household organisation projects
- providing occasional support with pet-related duties
- ensuring the home remains tidy, organised and guest-ready at all times
