Position: Temporary Housekeeper Companion

A private household based in Streatham are seeking an experienced temporary housekeeper / companion to provide reliable support for a 6–8 week booking. The role is available on either a live in or live out basis and would suit a warm, trustworthy and attentive candidate who is comfortable combining housekeeping with companionship.
The ideal candidate will have previous private household experience and be confident managing housekeeping duties independently while providing friendly and reassuring companionship. They should be discreet, organised and flexible, with excellent attention to detail and excellent references.
Duties include:
- maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the home
- cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- laundry and ironing
- making beds and changing bed linen
- wardrobe and clothing care
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- preparing simple meals and refreshments when required
- shopping for groceries and household essentials
- running occasional household errands
- providing friendly and attentive companionship
- being available to accompany the client on outings or appointments when required
- assisting with light practical tasks around the home
- keeping the household organised and running smoothly
- maintaining a discreet and professional presence at all times
- ensuring the home remains clean, comfortable and welcoming
