A lovely family based in North London are seeking an experienced full time nanny / housekeeper to care for their 10-year-old child while helping with the general upkeep of the family home. This is a varied role suited to a warm, reliable and proactive candidate who enjoys combining childcare with household responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will be confident caring for a school-aged child, managing daily routines and providing a fun, supportive environment. They should also be organised, practical and happy to take responsibility for general housekeeping duties. A driver is preferred, particularly for school runs, activities and errands. Previous private household experience and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- providing attentive and reliable care for the child
- supporting the child’s daily and after-school routine
- school drop-offs and collections when required
- preparing healthy snacks and simple meals
- assisting with homework, reading and school-related tasks
- planning fun and age-appropriate activities
- taking the child to clubs, activities and appointments when required
- supporting evening routines
- organising school bags, uniforms and belongings
- undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the home
- cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- laundry and ironing
- making beds and changing bed linen
- keeping the child’s bedroom and living areas tidy and organised
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- running occasional household errands
- driving the child to school, activities or appointments when required
- helping to keep the home clean, organised and running smoothly at all times

Requirements:
Paediatric First Aid
Enhanced DBS check
