A lovely family based in Wimbledon are seeking an experienced and reliable temporary housekeeper / nanny to support their household for a 7-week period. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys combining childcare and housekeeping responsibilities and is confident caring for young children within a busy family environment.
The family have a newborn baby and a 3-year-old child. The role will involve helping to maintain the home, supporting the family’s daily routines and collecting the older child from nursery. The property is a small flat, making this an ideal position for a candidate who is organised, efficient and happy to take a hands-on approach. Previous experience with young children and excellent references are essential.
Duties would include:
- general housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- tidying and organising household spaces
- collecting the 3-year-old from nursery
- providing childcare support when required
- preparing simple meals and snacks for the child
- keeping children’s areas clean and organised
- assisting with newborn-related tasks when needed
- helping ensure the household runs smoothly during the temporary placement
