A private household based in Esher is seeking an experienced and professional live in housekeeper to assist with the smooth running and upkeep of their home. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented candidate who takes pride in maintaining high standards and enjoys working within a private household environment.
The ideal candidate will be organised, flexible and capable of working independently while ensuring the home remains clean, well presented and efficiently managed. A confident driver is essential for this role, and applicants must be pet friendly and comfortable around animals. Previous experience in a similar position and excellent references are required.
Duties include:
- full housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe management
- making beds and changing bed linen
- dusting, polishing and caring for household furnishings
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage areas
- monitoring household supplies and reporting shortages
- running household errands when required
- driving duties as needed
- assisting with pet care when required
- helping ensure the home remains tidy, organised and welcoming at all times
