A lovely family based in Pinner are seeking an experienced part time nanny / housekeeper to support their two children, aged 7 and 4 years old, alongside helping with the general upkeep of their three-bedroom home. This is a varied role suited to a warm, reliable and organised candidate who enjoys combining childcare with household duties.
The ideal candidate will be confident managing morning and after-school routines, able to provide engaging care for school-aged children and happy to assist with light housekeeping during the day. The family have a friendly dog, so the successful candidate should be comfortable around dogs. Previous private household experience and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- supporting the children with their morning routine
- preparing breakfast and snacks for the children
- helping the children get ready for school
- school drop-offs when required
- collecting the children from school
- providing attentive after-school care
- planning fun and age-appropriate activities
- assisting with homework and reading
- preparing simple meals and snacks for the children
- supporting bath time and evening routines
- undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- vacuuming, dusting and maintaining household surfaces
- laundry and ironing
- making beds and changing bed linen
- keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas tidy and organised
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- running occasional household errands when required
- being comfortable working around the family’s Bulldog
- ensuring the home remains tidy, organised and running smoothly
