A household based in Ottershaw, Surrey is seeking a reliable and experienced part time housekeeper to help maintain their home to a high standard. This is a regular position working on Mondays and Fridays for four hours per day, in a five-bedroom property where only one bedroom is used regularly.
The ideal candidate will be organised, thorough and take pride in their work, with previous housekeeping experience and good attention to detail. They should be confident working independently and able to keep the main living areas clean, tidy and well presented.
Duties include:
- carrying out general housekeeping duties throughout the home
- cleaning the regularly used bedroom and bathroom
- cleaning other bedrooms and bathrooms as required
- cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- making beds and changing bed linen
- managing laundry and ironing when required
- keeping the home tidy, clean and well organised
- cleaning mirrors, glass and other household surfaces
- maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property
- organising household items and keeping rooms presentable
- using initiative to manage daily housekeeping tasks independently
- ensuring the home remains clean, comfortable and well maintained
