A lovely family based in Haringey are seeking an experienced and reliable part time housekeeper to help maintain their home to a high standard. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and organised candidate who enjoys working independently and takes pride in creating a clean, tidy and well-organised household.
The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be trustworthy and able to use their initiative to ensure the home is always presented beautifully. Applicants should also be pet friendly and comfortable working in a household with pets. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and household storage areas
- keeping the home tidy, clutter free and well presented
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- cleaning interior windows and mirrors when required
- monitoring household supplies and reporting when items need replenishing
- running occasional household errands when required
- being comfortable working around household pets
- ensuring the home remains clean, organised and welcoming at all times
