A lovely household based in Kingston is seeking an experienced and reliable part time housekeeper cook to help maintain their home while preparing fresh, home-cooked meals. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised candidate who enjoys combining housekeeping with cooking and takes pride in creating a clean, welcoming and well-managed household.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, use their initiative and maintain excellent attention to detail. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties would include:
- general housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage areas
- planning and preparing fresh, healthy family meals
- batch cooking and preparing meals in advance when required
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- grocery shopping and monitoring household supplies when required
- running household errands as needed
- helping ensure the home remains tidy, organised and welcoming at all times
