A lovely household based in Kensington are seeking an experienced part time housekeeper / cook to provide weekly support with housekeeping, wardrobe management and meal preparation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised, detail-oriented and reliable candidate who enjoys maintaining a beautifully run home while preparing fresh, home-cooked meals.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a private household, be confident with garment care and wardrobe organisation, and enjoy preparing nutritious, high-quality meals. They should be able to work independently and use their initiative to ensure the household remains organised and well maintained. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are essential.
Duties would include:
- maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the home
- laundry, ironing and expert wardrobe management
- organising clothing, shoes and accessories
- caring for delicate fabrics and designer garments
- making beds and changing bed linen when required
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and living areas
- vacuuming, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- preparing fresh, healthy home-cooked meals for the family
- planning simple menus and shopping for ingredients when required
- monitoring household supplies and replenishing essentials if needed
- ensuring the home remains clean, organised and welcoming at all times
