A lovely household based in Bromley is seeking an experienced and reliable part time housekeeper / cook to help maintain their home and prepare fresh, home-cooked meals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys creating a clean, organised household while taking pride in preparing nutritious food for the family.
The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive and able to work independently, ensuring the home is kept to a high standard while confidently managing meal preparation. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties would include:
- general housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- vacuuming, mopping and dusting all household areas
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage spaces
- planning and preparing fresh, healthy family meals
- batch cooking and meal preparation when required
- keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and well organised
- monitoring household supplies and grocery shopping when needed
- helping ensure the household runs smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis
