A lovely household in Kidlington is looking to hire two experienced live out housekeepers to work on a shared rota, ensuring full housekeeping coverage throughout the week. This is a wonderful opportunity for professional and hardworking candidates who take pride in maintaining a home to a high standard and enjoy being part of a well-run household.
The property is a large family home, and the family are seeking reliable individuals who can work efficiently, use their initiative and maintain excellent attention to detail. Candidates should be comfortable working around dogs and happy to assist with a variety of household tasks. Applicants with previous experience in private households and strong references will be highly regarded. Cooking skills would be an advantage but are not essential.
Duties include:
- maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the home
- daily cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and fabric care
- bed making and changing bed linen
- organising wardrobes and storage spaces
- vacuuming, mopping and dusting throughout the property
- caring for household furnishings and delicate surfaces
- packing and preparing luggage for family travel
- monitoring household supplies and replenishing essentials when required
- assisting with pet-related duties when needed
- supporting household organisation and daily routines
- preparing simple meals on occasion if desired
