A lovely family based in Bayswater are seeking an experienced and professional full time housekeeper to assist with the smooth running of their home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and organised candidate who takes pride in maintaining high standards and is happy to provide occasional childcare support when required.
The role is primarily focused on housekeeping within a well-maintained home comprising two bedrooms, an office and a media room. The family have a 15 year old child with SEN so some childcare support may be required. This will never be sole charge as one parent will always be at home. Previous experience working around children with additional needs would be advantageous but is not essential.
The family also have a friendly indoor cat, so applicants should be comfortable working in a pet-friendly household.
Duties include:
- full housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- dusting, polishing and caring for household furnishings
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage spaces
- keeping the home tidy, organised and well presented at all times
- assisting with meal preparation when required
- providing occasional support and supervision for the family’s teenager
- helping maintain a calm, structured and supportive home environment
- assisting with the care of the family’s indoor cat when needed
