A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an experienced and talented full time private chef to support a family across their two residences in Groombridge and Belgravia. The successful candidate will divide their time between both homes, preparing fresh, high-quality meals and ensuring the kitchens are well organised and efficiently managed. This is an excellent role for a passionate chef who enjoys working in a private household and creating delicious, nutritious menus tailored to the family’s preferences. Someone who can drive is essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will be organised, flexible and able to work independently across both properties. They should have a creative approach to cooking, excellent knowledge of food hygiene and experience within a private household or similar environment. Previous experience and outstanding references are essential.
Duties include:
- planning varied, seasonal and nutritious weekly menus
- preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner as required
- creating fresh, healthy and beautifully presented meals
- catering for dietary requirements and personal preferences
- batch cooking and preparing meals in advance when needed
- shopping for fresh ingredients and managing kitchen stock
- maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
- keeping both kitchens clean, organised and well maintained
- monitoring pantry supplies and replenishing household essentials
- assisting with occasional entertaining and family gatherings
- coordinating food preparation between the family’s two residences
- ensuring a smooth and professional service across both households
