A lovely family based in Poole are seeking an experienced live in nanny housekeeper to provide dedicated care for their 1-year-old child while helping to maintain a clean, organised and welcoming home. The family are also expecting a new baby in November, making this a wonderful opportunity for a nurturing and organised candidate who is confident supporting a growing family.
The ideal candidate will have experience caring for babies and toddlers, be proactive, reliable and happy to combine childcare with housekeeping duties. Occasional evening babysitting will be required, with plenty of notice given in advance. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- providing attentive and loving care for the 1-year-old child
- supporting feeding, naps and daily routines
- planning stimulating and age-appropriate activities
- encouraging learning and development through play
- preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child
- supporting the family with the arrival of their newborn in November
- assisting with bath time and bedtime routines
- undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care for the family
- making beds and changing bed linen
- keeping the children’s bedrooms, nursery and play areas tidy and organised
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- preparing simple family meals when required
- providing occasional evening babysitting as arranged in advance
- ensuring the home remains clean, organised and running smoothly at all times
