A lovely couple based in Beaconsfield are seeking an experienced full time housekeeper to provide reliable support with the smooth running and upkeep of their home. This is an excellent opportunity for a warm, discreet and experienced housekeeper who is comfortable working alongside other household staff.
The ideal candidate will have previous private household experience and be confident managing all aspects of housekeeping independently. They should be organised, attentive to detail and respectful of the couple’s privacy and routines. The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a household where a live-in carer is also present and be happy to provide occasional practical support around the home when required. Excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the home
- cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- laundry and ironing
- making beds and changing bed linen
- changing towels and bed linen as required
- wardrobe and clothing care
- organising cupboards and household storage areas
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- preparing simple meals and refreshments when required
- washing up and tidying after meals
- monitoring household supplies and replenishing essentials
- receiving deliveries and assisting with household organisation
- running occasional household errands
- keeping the home tidy, comfortable and well presented
- working respectfully alongside the live-in carer
- providing occasional practical support to the couple when required
- helping maintain a calm, comfortable and organised household environment
- ensuring the property remains clean and running smoothly at all times
