A lovely family based in Ilkley are seeking an experienced and caring full time nanny / housekeeper to support the care of their two children, aged 5 and 10 years old, while helping to maintain a clean, organised and welcoming home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a warm, proactive and reliable candidate who enjoys balancing childcare with housekeeping responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will be organised, nurturing and able to use their initiative, creating a safe and engaging environment for the children while ensuring the household runs smoothly. A confident driver would be highly desirable for school runs, activities and errands. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- providing attentive care for the children
- supporting school routines and after-school care
- planning fun and age-appropriate activities
- assisting with homework and encouraging independent learning
- preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
- general housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness throughout the home
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- keeping the children’s bedrooms, play areas and communal spaces tidy and organised
- running household errands when required
- driving the children to school, activities or appointments if needed
- helping ensure the home remains clean, organised and running smoothly each day

Requirements:
Paediatric First Aid
Enhanced DBS check
UK work permit
