A lovely family based in Acton are seeking an experienced and caring full time live out nanny / housekeeper to support the care of their 3-year-old child while helping with the day-to-day running of their home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a warm, organised and proactive candidate who enjoys combining childcare with housekeeping and light cooking duties.
The ideal candidate will be nurturing, reliable and able to create a fun, safe and stimulating environment for a young child while ensuring the household remains clean and well organised. The family also have a friendly dog, so applicants must be pet friendly and comfortable around dogs. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- providing attentive and loving care for the child
- planning engaging, educational and age-appropriate activities
- supporting the child’s daily routines and development
- preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child
- general housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness throughout the home
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- keeping the child’s bedroom, play areas and communal spaces tidy and organised
- preparing simple family meals when required
- running occasional household errands
- walking or caring for the family dog when needed
- helping maintain a happy, organised and well-run household
