A lovely family based in Balham are seeking an experienced and caring full time live out nanny housekeeper to care for their 10-month-old baby while helping to maintain a clean, organised and welcoming home. This is a wonderful opportunity for a warm, proactive and reliable candidate who enjoys combining childcare with housekeeping responsibilities in a family environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience caring for babies, be confident supporting developmental milestones and be able to manage the household efficiently during quieter periods. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- providing attentive and nurturing care for the baby
- supporting feeding, nap and daily routines
- planning stimulating and age-appropriate activities to encourage development
- preparing healthy meals and snacks for the baby
- maintaining the baby’s nursery, toys and belongings
- supporting developmental milestones through play and interaction
- taking the baby to local classes, parks and outings when appropriate
- undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care for the family
- making beds and changing bed linen
- keeping the home tidy, organised and well presented
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- running household errands and grocery shopping when required
- preparing simple family meals when needed
- ensuring the home remains clean, welcoming and running smoothly each day
