A private household based in Oxshott are seeking a skilled and reliable handyman / gardener to support the maintenance and upkeep of their property. This is a varied role suited to someone practical, proactive and able to take initiative across both indoor and outdoor tasks.
The property is a 5-bedroom home, although only one bedroom is currently in use, alongside grounds requiring regular care. The household has three dogs, so a candidate who is comfortable around pets is essential. A driver is required for this role.
The position can be offered on either a live in or live out basis. For live in candidates, separate accommodation is provided, ensuring comfort and privacy.
Duties include:
- carrying out general maintenance and basic repairs around the property
- maintaining the garden, including lawn care, planting and upkeep
- ensuring outdoor areas are tidy, well presented and safe
- assisting with upkeep of driveways, paths and exterior spaces
- supporting with general property management tasks
- assisting with pet-related duties when needed
- identifying and addressing maintenance issues proactively
