A well-kept private home in Esher is looking for an experienced and practical handyman / gardener to take responsibility for the ongoing maintenance of both the property and its grounds. This is a varied position suited to someone who is hands-on, efficient and takes pride in keeping a home running smoothly.
The property is a 5-bedroom home, although only one bedroom is currently in use, alongside outdoor areas requiring regular care. The household has three dogs, so a candidate must be comfortable around animals. A confident driver is essential for this role.
The position can be offered on either a live in or live out basis. For live in candidates, separate accommodation is provided, offering comfort and privacy.
Duties include:
- undertaking general repairs and maintenance tasks around the home
- looking after the garden, including mowing, trimming and seasonal upkeep
- ensuring outdoor spaces are clean, safe and well maintained
- monitoring the condition of the property and addressing issues promptly
- supporting with general household and estate-related tasks
- assisting with basic care of the dogs when needed
- keeping tools, equipment and work areas organised
