A private family based in Barnet, London is seeking an experienced and reliable full time driver / cook to support the smooth running of their household. This is a varied role suited to someone who is confident behind the wheel and enjoys preparing fresh, home-cooked meals.
The ideal candidate will be a safe and experienced driver, organised, discreet and flexible in their approach. They should be confident preparing a range of family meals and happy to assist with general household errands and driving duties as required.
Duties include:
- driving the family safely and reliably when required
- school and activity drop-offs and collections when required
- running household errands and carrying out shopping
- maintaining the family vehicle and ensuring it is clean and ready for use
- planning and preparing fresh family meals
- preparing breakfasts, lunches and dinners as required
- organising ingredients and managing food shopping
- keeping the kitchen clean and organised
- washing up and tidying after meals
- assisting with household errands and practical tasks when required
- ensuring the family has everything needed for the day
- using initiative and anticipating the family’s needs
- maintaining discretion, professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- supporting the smooth running of the household
