A household based in Sidcup, London is seeking a reliable and experienced part time housekeeper to help maintain their home to a high standard. This is a regular position working two days per week, with five hours per session.
The ideal candidate will have previous housekeeping experience, be organised and thorough, and take pride in keeping a home clean, tidy and well presented. They should be confident working independently, have good attention to detail and be happy to manage their duties efficiently within the allocated hours.
Duties include:
- carrying out general housekeeping duties throughout the home
- cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- making beds and changing bed linen
- managing laundry and ironing when required
- keeping the home clean, tidy and well organised
- maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property
- cleaning mirrors, glass and other household surfaces
- organising household items and keeping rooms presentable
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- washing up and tidying after meals
- monitoring household supplies and reporting when items need replenishing
- using initiative to manage daily housekeeping tasks independently
- ensuring the home remains comfortable, organised and well maintained
