A household based in Blackheath, London is seeking a reliable and experienced part time housekeeper / cook to help keep their home clean and organised while preparing simple, fresh meals. This is a flexible position for someone who enjoys combining general housekeeping with cooking duties.
The ideal candidate will be organised, thorough and confident working independently. They should take pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming home, have good cooking skills and be comfortable working in a pet-friendly household.
Duties include:
- carrying out general housekeeping duties throughout the home
- cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- making beds and changing bed linen
- managing laundry and ironing when required
- keeping the home tidy, clean and well organised
- preparing fresh and simple meals for the household
- planning meals and preparing ingredients
- managing food supplies and checking ingredients
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- washing up and tidying after meals
- organising household items and keeping rooms presentable
- being comfortable working in a pet-friendly home
- using initiative to manage daily tasks efficiently
- ensuring the home remains clean, organised and running smoothly
