A lovely household based in Southwark are seeking an experienced part time housekeeper to take responsibility for the upkeep and presentation of their three-bedroom apartment. The role will involve maintaining a consistently high standard of cleanliness and ensuring the home is kept tidy, organised and comfortable.
The ideal candidate will have previous private household experience and be reliable, hardworking and proactive, with excellent attention to detail. They should be confident managing general housekeeping duties independently and take pride in their work. Excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the apartment
- cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming and mopping floors
- dusting, polishing and cleaning household surfaces
- cleaning and maintaining the kitchen
- cleaning kitchen appliances and work surfaces
- laundry and ironing
- washing, folding and organising household linen
- making beds and changing bed linen
- changing towels as required
- keeping wardrobes and clothing organised
- organising cupboards, drawers and storage areas
- keeping the apartment tidy and clutter free
- monitoring household cleaning and laundry supplies
- replenishing household essentials when required
- receiving deliveries when required
- assisting with general household organisation
- maintaining a high standard of presentation throughout the property
- running occasional household errands when required
- keeping the home clean, comfortable and well presented
- assisting with other reasonable household tasks as required
- using initiative to ensure the household runs smoothly each day
