A lovely household based in Hadley Wood, Barnet, are seeking an experienced part time housekeeper to provide regular support with the upkeep and organisation of their home. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation, ensuring the household is kept comfortable, tidy and well organised.
The ideal candidate will have previous private household experience and be reliable, hardworking and proactive, with excellent attention to detail. They should be confident working independently and take pride in delivering a consistently high standard of housekeeping. The family are pet friendly, so the successful candidate should be comfortable working around pets. Excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home
- cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming and mopping floors
- dusting, polishing and cleaning household surfaces
- cleaning and maintaining the kitchen
- cleaning kitchen appliances and work surfaces
- laundry and ironing
- washing, folding and organising household linen
- making beds and changing bed linen
- changing towels as required
- keeping wardrobes and clothing organised
- organising cupboards, drawers and household storage
- keeping the home tidy and clutter free
- monitoring household cleaning and laundry supplies
- replenishing household essentials when required
- receiving deliveries when required
- assisting with general household organisation
- maintaining a high standard of presentation throughout the property
- being comfortable working around pets
- keeping the home clean, comfortable and well presented
- assisting with other reasonable household tasks as required
- using initiative to ensure the household runs smoothly each day
