A lovely household based in Bourne Hill are seeking an experienced part time housekeeper to provide regular support in their four-bedroom home. Ideally, the successful candidate will work on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, although the family are also open to other arrangements with one day at the beginning and one day towards the end of the week.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, proactive and well organised, with excellent attention to detail and previous experience working in a private household. They should be confident managing all aspects of general housekeeping independently and take pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and well-presented home. Excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the home
- cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- laundry and ironing
- making beds and changing bed linen
- wardrobe and clothing care
- organising cupboards and household storage areas
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- cleaning kitchen appliances and ensuring the kitchen is kept to a high standard
- monitoring household supplies and replenishing essentials when required
- keeping the home tidy, organised and well presented
- assisting with household organisation when needed
- running occasional household errands if required
- ensuring the home remains clean, comfortable and welcoming at all times
