A lovely family based in Wandsworth are seeking an experienced part time nanny housekeeper / cook to care for their 5-year-old child while providing support with housekeeping and meal preparation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a warm, reliable and proactive candidate who enjoys a varied afternoon role and can become a trusted part of the family.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience caring for young children, be confident managing after-school routines and enjoy preparing fresh, healthy meals. They should also be organised and happy to assist with general housekeeping duties to help keep the home clean and running smoothly. Previous private household experience and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- providing attentive and nurturing care for the child
- supporting the child’s after-school routine
- preparing healthy snacks and meals
- preparing fresh home-cooked meals for the family
- planning simple menus and organising ingredients when required
- organising engaging and age-appropriate activities
- supporting homework and learning through play
- assisting with bath time and evening routines
- undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- keeping the child’s bedroom and play areas tidy and organised
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- running occasional household errands when required
- ensuring the home remains clean, organised and welcoming at all times
