A lovely family based in Holland Park are seeking an experienced part time nanny housekeeper / cook to support their household and care for their 11-year-old child. This is a varied role combining after-school childcare, school pick-ups, meal preparation and general household support.
The ideal candidate will be warm, reliable, organised and proactive, with previous experience caring for school-aged children and working in a private household. They should be confident preparing family meals and happy to assist with school pick-ups twice a week. Previous private household experience and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- providing attentive and reliable care for the 11-year-old child
- collecting the child from school twice a week
- supporting the child with their after-school routine
- preparing healthy meals and snacks
- preparing family meals 3–4 times per week
- planning simple menus and organising ingredients when required
- assisting with homework and school-related activities
- providing age-appropriate activities and companionship
- undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- keeping the child’s bedroom and living areas tidy and organised
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- running occasional household errands when required
- ensuring the home remains clean, organised and running smoothly at all times
