A lovely family based in Totteridge are seeking an experienced live out nanny housekeeper to support the smooth running of their busy household. The role will involve assisting with the care and supervision of their three children, aged 10, 15 and 17, while maintaining their spacious six-bedroom home to a high standard. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, organised and dependable candidate who enjoys working in a family environment.
The ideal candidate will be confident supporting older children and teenagers, be able to use their initiative and manage household tasks efficiently. A confident driver would be preferred but is not essential. Applicants should also be comfortable working in a home with one dog and two cats. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- providing support and supervision for the children when required
- assisting with school routines and after-school activities
- preparing healthy snacks and simple family meals
- supporting homework and encouraging independence where appropriate
- undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care for the family
- making beds and changing bed linen
- keeping the home tidy, organised and well presented
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- running household errands and grocery shopping when required
- driving the children to activities if needed would be an advantage
- being comfortable working around the family’s dog and two cats
- ensuring the home remains clean, organised and running smoothly at all times
