A lovely family based in Weybridge are seeking an experienced live in housekeeper to help maintain their beautiful four-bedroom, three-bathroom home to a high standard. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, organised and trustworthy candidate who enjoys working independently and takes pride in creating a clean, comfortable and well-organised household.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a private household, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage the day-to-day upkeep of the home using their own initiative. Comfortable private accommodation, including a bedroom and bathroom, is provided. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the home
- cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage areas
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- cleaning interior windows, mirrors and household appliances when required
- monitoring household supplies and reporting when items need replenishing
- receiving deliveries and assisting with household organisation
- running occasional household errands when required
- reporting maintenance issues promptly
- helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the household
- ensuring the home remains clean, organised and welcoming at all times
