A lovely family based in Clapham are seeking an experienced and caring part time nanny housekeeper cook to support the care of their 4-year-old child while assisting with housekeeping and preparing family meals. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, organised and reliable candidate who enjoys a varied role within a welcoming family home.
The ideal candidate will be confident caring for a young child, preparing healthy home-cooked meals and maintaining a clean and organised household. They should be able to work independently, use their initiative and provide a high standard of childcare and household support. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- providing attentive and nurturing care for the child after school
- collecting the child from school when required
- planning engaging and age-appropriate activities
- supporting learning, reading and creative play
- preparing healthy snacks and evening meals for the child and family
- assisting with bath time and evening routines
- undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- keeping the child’s bedroom and play areas tidy and organised
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- shopping for groceries and household essentials when required
- preparing fresh, nutritious family meals
- ensuring the home remains clean, organised and welcoming at all times
